Are you curious about the paranormal? A lover of strange history and haunted places? Then step into the shadows and explore the unknown… 
 Join us as part of the Pottsville After Dark Series for an evening of paranormal investigation inside the historic halls of the Schuylkill County Historical Society.
Located in the heart of Pottsville, this historic building houses generations of Schuylkill County history—but some visitors believe the past hasn’t entirely left. Investigators and staff have long suspected that the building’s former residents may still linger among the archives.
Your hosts for the evening, Leah McKain and Amy Dee, will guide guests through an immersive paranormal investigation of the Historical Society. The evening begins with an introduction to the building’s history and the investigative equipment you’ll be using throughout the night. You’ll learn the basics of paranormal investigation before being divided into smaller groups.
Each group will then be guided through various areas of the Historical Society for hands-on investigations. Using professional paranormal equipment, you’ll attempt to communicate with the unseen and explore spaces rarely experienced after dark.
This unique event invites you to experience the history of Pottsville in a way few ever do.
Reservations Include:
• Introduction to the history and legends of the Historical Society
• Instruction on paranormal investigation techniques
• Use of professional investigation equipment
• Guided investigations through the building in small groups
• Light refreshments during the introduction period
What to wear:
Comfortable, non-slip shoes are recommended.
Welcome, but not required:
Flashlights, audio recorders, or personal investigation equipment.
