 This workshop will teach you the basics of conducting genealogy research – perfect for beginners!

 Have you always wanted to research your family but didn't know where to start?  This class will give you the fundamental tools to discover and connect with your ancestors. 

In this class, you will learn to:

1. Choose a family tree platform that works for you

2. Start adding your family

3. Locate documents to verify family relationships

4. Keep your research organized

5. Create source citations to give your work credibility

6. Uncover fun, exciting, and sometimes crazy stories about your family

Led by Fran Shockley, the Family Story Sleuth, a genealogist with over 20 years of experience.
