Comprised of 5 volumes of records, each having approximately 300 entries. One of the best compilations of United Brethan records ever seen by the compilers. A. Donald Buffington, owner of the funeral home from 1929 was a member of the U.B. Church which in Valley View is now St. Andrew United Methodist Church. The first record found begins on December 4, 1932. Records include the name of deceased, date and place of death, cemetery of burial, parents and other pertinent information as available. This collection includes deaths from Mt. Carmel, Taylorsville, Lavelle, Pitman, Barry twp., fountain, down the Deep Creek Valley through Hegins, Valley Veiw, Sacramento, Spring Glen, Klingertown, some on both sides of the Mahantongo Mountain, and some extending down as far as Gratz, as well as as some from Northumberland County. 181 pages
