Centralia lies just 2 miles outside of Ashland . Over the years a burning anthracite coal fire has destroyed much of the sub-surface, and there have been cave-ins and settling in the area, thus the urgency to compile cemetery records from this area. 4 cemeteries in Centralia ( all listed in this booklet) Odd Fellows, St. Ignatius (R.C.), St Mary's (Ukraninian Catholic) and St. Peter and Paul Orth.
